How to use the bill checker
- Find the 14-digit reference number near the top of any previous electricity bill. Ignore spaces and the letter (U or R) at the end.
- Select your electricity company. If you are unsure, see how to find your DISCO.
- Press Check Official Bill. You will be taken to the official PITC web-bill page for your company, where you can view, download or print your bill.
Is this an official service?
No. Online Bijli Bill Check is an independent information website. Our checker only validates the format of your number and sends you to the official PITC portal. We do not store your reference number and we never see your bill, payment or personal details.
What to check once your bill opens
- Present reading and units — compare with your meter.
- Protected or non-protected status — see the 6-month history.
- FPA, QTA and taxes — see our information centre.
- Due date and arrears — pay on time to avoid a surcharge.
If your bill does not open
- Make sure you entered exactly 14 digits and chose the correct company.
- Karachi bills are issued by K-Electric and are not on PITC.
- Some private housing societies issue their own bills.
- The official portal can be slow near due dates — try again later.
