Online Bijli Bill Check is an independent, consumer-focused information website for electricity users in Pakistan. Our goal is simple: help ordinary people understand their bijli bill, find their official bill quickly, and make sense of tariffs, taxes and solar rules without confusing jargon.
Why we started this website
Every month millions of Pakistani households and shops receive an electricity bill full of headings such as FPA, QTA, GST, ED, TV fee, F.C. surcharge and deferred amounts. Most people only look at the total. When the bill suddenly increases, it is hard to know whether the cause is higher consumption, a slab change, a fuel adjustment or a tax. We created Online Bijli Bill Check to explain these items clearly, in plain English, with practical examples.
What you will find here
- Bill checking help: a simple tool that checks your 14-digit reference number format and sends you to the official PITC bill page of your DISCO (LESCO, MEPCO, FESCO, IESCO, GEPCO, PESCO, HESCO, SEPCO, QESCO, TESCO and HAZECO).
- DISCO guides: service areas, bill reading tips and common billing issues for each distribution company.
- Bill calculation guides: how units, tariff slabs, protected and non-protected categories, adjustments and taxes combine into the final payable amount.
- Solar guides: net metering, net billing and what solar consumers should check on their bills.
Our editorial approach
- We write for consumers, not for companies, and we do not accept payment to change our explanations.
- We base our guides on official sources such as NEPRA determinations, DISCO and PITC portals, and government notifications.
- Tariffs and taxes change regularly, so we review our guides and show an updated date on each article.
- If we make a mistake, we correct it. You can report errors through our Contact page.
Important: we are not an official DISCO
Online Bijli Bill Check is not owned by, affiliated with or endorsed by any DISCO, PITC, NEPRA, WAPDA or the Government of Pakistan. We do not issue bills, receive payments or handle complaints on behalf of any company. For official bills, payments and complaints, always use your DISCO's official channels.
