HESCO (Hyderabad Electric Supply Company) supplies electricity to Hyderabad and the southern districts of Sindh outside Karachi, including Thatta, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar, Sanghar and nearby areas. Karachi is served separately by K-Electric.
What makes HESCO bills different
- Hot, humid climate: fans and ACs run for most of the year.
- Rural and coastal areas: long feeders and scattered populations mean reading and supply issues can occur.
- Average and detection billing: some consumers receive estimated or detection bills, so it is important to compare the bill with the meter.
How to check your HESCO bill online

- Find the 14-digit reference number printed near the top of any old HESCO bill.
- Open our bill checker, select HESCO and enter the number (without spaces).
- You will be sent to the official PITC HESCO bill page, where you can view, download or print the duplicate bill.
We only check the number format and redirect you; your bill is shown by the official system.
Complaints and help
- Call the national electricity helpline 118 from your mobile phone to report faults or outages.
- For billing errors, visit your HESCO sub-division office with the bill, your CNIC and a dated photo of your meter reading, and submit a written complaint.
- If the problem is not resolved, consumers can file a complaint with NEPRA.
Saving tips for HESCO consumers
- Take a dated photo of your meter around the reading date each month.
- Use efficient fans and inverter ACs.
