PESCO (Peshawar Electric Supply Company) serves most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Kohat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan and Swat. The Hazara division is now served by HAZECO, and the former tribal districts by TESCO.
What makes PESCO bills different
- Wide climate range: cold northern valleys use electricity for heating in winter, while D.I. Khan and the southern districts have very hot summers.
- Feeder-based load-shedding: some feeders with high losses have longer outage schedules, which is a common source of complaints.
- Detection bills: consumers in some areas receive detection or average bills, so keeping meter photos is important.
How to check your PESCO bill online

- Find the 14-digit reference number printed near the top of any old PESCO bill.
- Open our bill checker, select PESCO and enter the number (without spaces).
- You will be sent to the official PITC PESCO bill page, where you can view, download or print the duplicate bill.
We only check the number format and redirect you; your bill is shown by the official system.
Complaints and help
- Call the national electricity helpline 118 from your mobile phone to report faults or outages.
- For billing errors, visit your PESCO sub-division office with the bill, your CNIC and a dated photo of your meter reading, and submit a written complaint.
- If the problem is not resolved, consumers can file a complaint with NEPRA.
