HAZECO (Hazara Electric Supply Company) is a newer distribution company formed by separating the Hazara division from PESCO. It serves Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Battagram, Torghar, Kohistan and surrounding areas. HAZECO consumers can check their electricity bill online with the reference number.

Which company should you select?
Because HAZECO was recently separated from PESCO, some consumers are unsure which option to choose. If your latest paper bill shows HAZECO, select HAZECO. If you still have older PESCO bills, use the number from your most recent bill. The reference number itself is usually the same 14-digit format.
Steps to check your HAZECO bill
- Open our bill checker and select HAZECO.
- Enter your 14-digit reference number.
- Click Check Official Bill to open the official PITC HAZECO page.
- View, print or save the bill as PDF.
What to check
- Winter units: electric heating in Abbottabad, Mansehra and upper areas raises winter consumption.
- Commercial tariff: hotels and guest houses in hill stations should be on the commercial (A-2) tariff.
- Arrears and adjustments carried over from the PESCO period.
If the HAZECO bill does not open
- Enter exactly 14 digits, without spaces or the final letter.
- Make sure HAZECO is selected; a reference number works only on its own company's page.
- The official portal can be slow near due dates — try again after a few minutes.
- New connections appear only after the first bill is issued.
Ways to pay the bill
- Mobile banking and internet banking apps of most Pakistani banks (look under "Utility Bills" → "Electricity").
- Mobile wallets such as JazzCash and Easypaisa.
- Bank branches and post offices before the due date.
Keep the payment confirmation until the next bill shows the amount as paid.
